High West High Country American Single Malt Whiskey

High Country™ American Single Malt, a one-of-a-kind creation distilled in copper pot stills high up in the Wasatch Mountains of Utah. As lovers and consumers of Scotland's famous single malt whiskies, we aimed to craft an American version that is both distinctive and exceptional. To achieve the robust, flavor-forward taste that is typical of American whiskeys and our signature High West style, we distilled our High Country™ American Single Malt "on the grain," which means that we left the grain in during fermentation and distillation instead of removing it.

This whiskey is matured using both freshly charred and second-use oak barrels, following the time-honored traditions of American and Scottish whiskey-making. These methods produce a distinctively delicious whiskey with a heavier mouthfeel, roasted malt flavor, and balanced complexity. We recommend savoring it neat or with a few drops of water while enjoying the breathtaking views of the western landscape.
