Black Bull 12 Year Blended Scotch Whisky
Aroma Is Muted, Papery, A Touch Of Rum Comes Through An Apple Note. Not Much Going On. It Takes A While For The Chocolate Liqueur Note To Show Itself. Taste Is Easy At 50% Alcohol, A Bit Waxy, Building Smoke And Plasticky Notes. Also Building European Oak. The Sherry Casks Used (The Taste Indicates There Must Be At Least Some) Seem Like Pretty Good Ones; Spicy, Dry But A Little Chocolatey And Rounded, ‘dark’ And Damp Wood, Vaguely Mushroomy. The Spirit Cleanses Things Out On The Finish.
