A dusty and solvent rich nose leads with classic oak notes of maple glaze followed by herbal rye grain notes of Mexican mint marigold and cookies n' cream, until late fruity notes of chocolate covered cherries. Finish: The expressive palate leads with dry spicy grain notes of cracked green peppercorn on toasted rye sourdough, before a juicy and engaging mid palate loaded with hewn oak, chocolate graham cracker, and mint & fennel frond salad. A late dash of cinnamon stick shows before a sweet and fading finish of red tootsie pop.
